Pre-Installation:

If possible, take a photo of the existing wiring or label all connectors carefully.

Record the current parameter settings (e.g., Load Pressure, Unload Pressure, Temperature Setpoints) from the old controller if it is still readable.

Removing the Old Unit:

Open the controller door or electrical cabinet.

Gently disconnect the ribbon cables and terminal plugs connected to the back of the ES99.

Unclip the mounting screws or plastic tabs holding the unit in place.

Installing the New ES99:

Align the new ES99 controller with the mounting cutout in the cabinet door or panel.

Secure it using the appropriate screws or clips.

Reconnect all wiring harnesses and plugs firmly. Ensure the locking tabs on the connectors click into place to prevent loose contact.

Configuration & Start-up:

Power on the compressor.

Upon startup, the controller will display the Atlas Copco logo.

Parameter Adjustment: Enter the "Configuration" or "Settings" menu (usually password protected). Input the correct pressure and temperature setpoints for the specific compressor model.

Date & Time: Set the current time to ensure accurate maintenance tracking logs.

Verification:

Allow the compressor to run through a full load/unload cycle.

Verify that the display readings match the actual pressure gauges.

Check for any "Fault" or "Warning" messages on the screen.
