A: Yes. Without a filter, your compressed air will retain millions of particles that will cause premature wear and tear, increasing your maintenance costs and shortening the life of your compressor.

A: For accurate results, measure from edge to edge of the filter frame. If your measurements show 19.5" x 24.5" x 0.75", you would round to the nearest whole inch and order a 20x25x1 filter.

A: When storing unused filters for extended periods, you can keep them for a long time as long as you place them in a cool, dry area. Doing so will maintain their integrity, essentially giving them an indefinite service life. But air filters do have an expiration date once you begin using them.

A: Dust, pollen, mould, dander, germs and debris that a clogged air filter can no longer filter out will be recirculated back into your environment. This is especially dangerous for people with allergies and respiratory conditions. Immediate issues could include headaches, itchy eyes or throat, and dizziness.

A: If the filter is very dirty, you can wash it with soap and water, then rinse with warm water. Make sure the filter is totally dry before you put it back in the car carefully so there are no air leaks. Regularly cleaning your filter helps your engine work better and last longer.
